#1 Country Debut
ALL ACCESS congratulates ARISTA NASHVILLE’s TIM MCGRAW and FAITH HILL for a #1 debut atop the Country albums chart with “The Rest Of Our Life.” First-week sales of the couple’s first-ever, full album project topped 100,000, with 98,000 coming in traditional album sales, according to NIELSEN MUSIC.
The strong debut also marks a return to album chart prominence for both MGRAW and HILL on an individual basis. MCGRAW’s 2013 “Two Lanes Of Freedom” also opened #1 on the Country and All-genre chart, while HILL’s “Firefiles” album debuted at #1 in 2005. Additionally, “The Rest Of Our Life” was ranked at #2 on this week’s all-genre album chart, behind TAYLOR SWIFT’s “Reputation,” which spends a second consecutive week at #1.
