With the FLEETWOOD MAC MUSICARES tribute on FRIDAY night at RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL and CLIVE DAVIS’ bash honoring JAY Z last night, the 60th annual GRAMMY AWARDS take place tonight in NEW YORK CITY’s MADISON SQUARE GARDEN after 15 years,in 2003.
This afternoon, the GRAMMY PREMIERE CEREMONY, which will hand out more than 70 of the 84 categories, is set to take place at the THEATRE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, with PAUL SHAFFER hosting and leading the WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS BAND. Among those set to perform on the pre-show are nominees BODY COUNT (ICE-T’s heavy metal band), INDIA.ARIE, JAZZMEIA HORN, TAJ MAHAL & KEB’ MO’ and STILE ANTICO.
Presenters include nominees ZAC BROWN, NATLIE GRANT and BERNIE HERMS, LEDISI, LISA LOEB and NEIL deGRASSE TYSON, as well as former RECORDING ACADEMY chair JIMMY JAM.
