She battled a terrifying breast cancer diagnosis less than two years ago and married her now-husband James while undergoing treatment.

And now country music singer Catherine Britt has beaten the odds to give birth to a healthy baby boy, Hank James Beverley.

The 33-year-old told Woman’s Day on Monday she feels ‘invincible’ after having the tiny tot on Christmas Eve and said the natural birth itself was a beautiful moment she’ll ‘never forget.’

‘When I was pregnant, as someone who is fairly selfish, at least career-wise, I was genuinely worried about how a baby would fit into my life and whether I’d got pregnant at the right time,’ she admitted to the publication.

‘But as soon as they come out, that all changes immediately. All I could think was “Why did I wait so long to do this?”‘

Catherine underwent radiation and chemotherapy for breast cancer in 2015 before being given the all-clear in January 2016.

Three months later she fell pregnant and admitted now she wants ‘millions of children.’

And while she’s grateful to have delivered a healthy and happy baby, she confessed she has sometimes struggled with the fickle art of breastfeeding.

As a result of her cancer treatment, Catherine can only feed from her right breast but so far is determined to make it work.

The growing family of three will be travelling to Silverton, NSW in an RV at the end of January to run a local pub and host the local music festival.

Her husband James, 31, admitted it was Catherine’s cancer diagnosis that prompted them to accept more of the travelling opportunities they’re afforded.

While travelling, Catherine will be promoting her new album and touring nationally from July.

The new mum has released five studio albums in Australia with four of them appearing on the ARIA albums chart.
