Country Radio Supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital With Big Weekend Of Radiothons

ALL ACCESS sends kudos to Country radio stations across the U.S. who have been spending the holiday season giving back to others, including handing checks to ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL to help support patients and their families. More than 120 radio markets will host ST. JUDE radiothons during the month of DECEMBER, with 70 of those taking place this past week.

iHEARTRADIO and PREMIERE NETWORKS nationally syndicated “THE BOBBY BONES SHOW” raised nearly $1.7 million as part of their two-day ST. JUDE radiothon on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7th and FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8th. Among the Country artists to stop by the show in support of ST. JUDE were DUSTIN LYNCH, KIP MOORE, DAN + SHAY, LAUREN ALAINA, CHRIS JANSON, DANIELLE BRADBERY, COLE SWINDELL, KELSEA BALLERINI, LUKE COMBS, LINDSAY ELL, CHARLIE WORSHAM, TUCKER BEATHARD, JIMMIE ALLEN, and NIKITA CARMEN. “Our listeners always come through, every single time, and always in a massive way for ST. JUDE,” said show host BOBBY BONES. “We’re so thankful to them, as well as the artists and affiliate stations, who went above and beyond to support this worthy cause.”

Also ringing the bell with impressive totals during last week’s ST. JUDE radiothons were: ENTERCOM Country WUSN (US 99)/CHICAGO with a two-day total of $723,106; iHEARTMEDIA Country WMZQ/WASHINGTON, D.C. with a total of $512,042; iHEARTMEDIA Country WKLB/BOSTON with a two-day total of $331,248; CUMULUS Country WIVK/KNOXVILLE with a total of $307,319; and BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP Country WQYK (99.5 QYK)/TAMPA with a two-day total of $300,630.
