CUMULUS Country WLXX (NASH FM 92.9)/LEXINGTON PD KENNY WALL has resigned his post for family reasons, with plans to move back to his hometown of PLUMMERVILLE, AR to care for his father. WALL joined WLXX, with additional programming duties for Classic Country sister WVKL (101.5 NASH ICON), a year ago (NET NEWS 10/20/16). His departure creates an immediate opportunity for candidates with a minimum of three years on-air experience and a track record of programming winning Country stations. Find out more about the gig on the CUMULUS careers site here, or send materials to CUMULUS VP/Operations JOHN DIMICK here and LEXINGTON OM ANTHONY LONGO here.
Prior to his LEXINGTON stint, WALL’s radio resume included handling OM duties for CUMULUS/NORTHWEST ARKANSAS with day-to-day PD oversight for Classic Rock KKEG/FAYETTEVILLE and Top 40 KBBQ/FORT SMITH. WALL has also programmed Active Rock and did a radio stint overseas in SYNDEY, AUSTRALIA.
