What happens when five musicians from small towns get together and make an album? In the case of Lanco, it’s a formula for success. The band released their debut album, Hallelujah Nights, on Jan. 19, and they’re already making a big splash in the country music world.
Lanco consists of five talented musicians: lead singer Brandon Lancaster, bassist Chandler Baldwin, multi-instrumentalist Jared Hampton, drummer Tripp Howell and lead guitarist Eric Steedly; we’re pretty sure you already know them from their first No. 1 hit, “Greatest Love Story.” Formerly known as Lancaster & Co., the band’s five members all hail from little towns throughout the South, and out of their experiences, they draw an upbeat mix of nostalgia and rebellion, equal parts traditional country and rock ‘n’ roll.
Lanco recently announced that they will be joining Brothers Osborne and Dierks Bentley on Bentley’s 2018 Mountain High Tour. Scroll through the photo gallery below to learn five things country fans need to know about the up-and-coming group.
