Monday’s (Oct. 2) episode of The Voice was, of course, taped weeks in advance — so there was no possibility of the music reality show having any idea the tragic events in Las Vegas would take place. The show’s network, NBC, decided to air a simple statement offering solidarity to those affected by the mass shooting at the Route 91 Festival.

The Voice Season 13 Blind Auditions 3 contained a number of standouts, including Adam Cunningham from Nashville who won over Blake Shelton with his rendition of “Midnight Rider” by the Allman Brothers.
