It’s now week two of The Voice Season 13 live shows, airing Monday (Nov. 27). One vocalist went home last week, leaving 11 singers to perform solely for viewer’s votes, while their respective coaches sat back, watched, and hoped for the best! (Want to cast your own vote? Team Miley Cyrus‘ Ashland Craft has been bringing the traditional country, much to Cyrus’ taste (she’s been vocal all season about her appreciation for the genre she grew up hearing through her early years). Last week, Craft took on the flexible classic “Delta Dawn,” which can lean pop as well as country — but this week, she tackled the Zac Brown Band‘s “Chicken Fried,” which is as southern as the referenced dish itself.
Resplendent in bedazzled fringe, it was pretty hard to out-country Craft, who gave the song a smoky spin. Her performance won applause from Coach Adam Levine, as well as her own mentor, Cyrus, who enjoyed the fact that Craft was fine and dandy with strutting her stuff.
Tune in Tuesday for the results, as the vote is in America’s hands, and one artist will be sent home on Nov. 28.
