They’re the powerhouse sisters known for their soulful tunes.

And on Saturday The McClymonts were celebrated for their incredible talent at Tamworth’s 10-day Country Music Festival, collecting an auspicious three gongs.

Brooke, 36, Samantha, 32, and Mollie McClymont, 31, walked away with Country Music Album of the Year award and the Contemporary Country Album of the Year for their album Endless.

They also scooped up the Country Music Group or Duo of the Year award making it a knockout evening for the ladies from Grafton, northern NSW.  

‘Was last night a dream?’ The sisters wrote on Instagram.

‘THREE Golden Guitars, we could not be more blown away and honoured to have won Group, Contemporary Album and ALBUM OF THE YEAR! Thank you Tamworth and YOU GUYS!

‘We get to do what we love everyday because you buy the albums and come out to the shows and we certainly never take for granted how lucky we are!’

The ladies were discovered in 1997 by Universal Records  at the Gympie Muster, but only signed Brooke at first.

It wasn’t until Samantha decided to pursue a solo career that Universal organised them as a trio.

Their first album was released in 2006 and peaked at number forty on the Australian ARIA Singles chart.

Each of the sisters is married, one with a fellow country singer, and have one child each. 

Mollie is currently pregnant with her second child.
