Over two years. That’s how long Amy from The Bobby Bones Show and her husband have been fighting the system to bring their adopted children home from Haiti. As listeners of the show we have joined the couple in celebration, grief, frustration, and anticipation. Today, the long wait comes to an end as Amy, her husband, and their beautiful children boarded a plane to fly home, as a family, to Nashville, TN.
Amy shared this monumental family photo on Instagram before they stepped foot on the plane to begin their brand new life together:
We cannot send enough congratulatory wishes to this patient, kind, and loving family. May the memories of the past become distant and fleeting thoughts, and we pray that you replace the years of hardships with infinite moments of joy.
What a wonderful Christmas gift to all four of these lucky people who have been blessed with the unique ability to choose one another to be their forevers. Our cups runneth over just thinking about the many stories we will soon hear on the air.
