Country music has seen a population explosion so far in 2017, and there are more babies to come before Christmas!
The year started off with Little Big Town singer Kimberly Schlapman and her husband welcoming a baby girl, who they adopted in a “domestic adoption,” according to management. Dolly Grace joins her older sister, Daisy.
Dan + Shay singer Shay Mooney welcomed a baby boy in January. Mooney and his fiancee, Hannah Billingsley, named their son Asher James Mooney. Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston is another country singer who became a first-time father in the early part of 2017, when he welcomed a baby boy in April.
Thomas Rhett‘s dream of fatherhood came true in May when he and his wife adopted daughter Willa Gray, and then again in August, when baby Ada was born. Mo Pitney, Josh Abbott, Holly Williams and more country artists have expanded their families already in 2017, and there are more on the way. Clay Walker and Jason Aldean are also among the country stars who’ve added on in 2017.
