The Medallion Ceremony took place at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, at the CMA Theater. Reed was posthumously inducted into the coveted Country Music Hall of Fame, and Stevens sang his country classic “When You’re Hot, You’re Hot,” in his honor. Stevens’ bold and brave vocal performance earned praise from Rolling Stone Country, and rightfully so, which described it as “one of the 10 best moments” of the night.
Aside from Jerry Reed, the other Country Music Hall of Fame inductees included Alan Jackson and Don Schlitz, for the Class of 2017.

Speaking of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ray Stevens was spotlighted with his own exhibit this past September, as Digital Journal reported, with his “Everything is Beautiful” display.
Steven’s illustrious career in the country music industry, has spanned 60 years. He is known for such smash singles as “The Streak” and “Everything is Beautiful.” He has sold in excess of 40 million units, and he continues to oversee the daily office operations at his home base, Ray Stevens Music, which is located on Music Row.
