NASH Next 2017
CUMULUS MEDIA held its “NASH NEXT 2017 FINALS” event at WILDHORSE SALOON in NASHVILLE last night (11/1), where Country band RADIO ROMANCE was named the winner of “NASH NEXT 2017.” The group hails from HERMITAGE, TN and is comprised of SAM HAYES, ADAM SMITHWICK, JOSH GRAMBLING, and MOISES PADILLA. The group won a prize package that includes a BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP (BMLG) recording contract and nationwide airplay via CUMULUS radio stations (NET NEWS 5/31).
“We’re so excited to add RADIO ROMANCE to the BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP family,” said BMLG President/CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA. “This was the toughest competition yet for ‘NASH NEXT,’ but at the end of the night, it was obvious that RADIO ROMANCE had prevailed.” Added CUMULUS MEDIA EVP/Programming & Content MIKE MCVAY, “Radio leads the way when it comes to music discovery. ‘NASH NEXT 2017’ genuinely discovers new artists, enables all of the contestants to be heard, and allows the winners to take advantage of an amazing opportunity to have their music backed by a major label as well as played nationally on the radio.
