Mel Tillis
Following his NOVEMBER passing and funeral (NET NEWS 11/27/17), plans have been announced for a public memorial service for COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAMER and GRAND OLE OPRY member MEL TILLIS. Family, friends, fans, and music industry colleagues are invited to the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31st at 10a (CT) for the memorial.
RICKY SKAGGS, RAY STEVENS, LARRY GATLIN & THE GATLIN BROTHERS, BRENDA LEE, ALISON KRAUSS, JAMEY JOHNSON, COLLIN RAYE, DARYLE SINGLETARY, LORRIE MORGAN, PAM TILLIS, SONNY TILLIS, and more are slated to take the stage during the service, which is free and open to the public.
