Miranda Lambert announced back in Sept. 2017 she’d be hitting 2018 hard with her Liviin’ Like Hippies Tour, and she decided to add a little fanfare to the opening night in Greenville, S.C. The singer posted a shot of what appears to be some Christmas-decoration-style light-up boots on her Instagram account Jan. 18.
“Let’s do this Greenville,” the singer cheerfully captioned the photo. If you aren’t in the area tonight, hopefully you’ll be able to catch her (and her electric boots) on tour another date!
The tour gets its name from a lyric from Lambert’s song “Highway Vagabond,” a song from her 2016 The Weight of These Wings double album. That album is up for Album of the Year at the 2017 CMAs, and her song “Tin Man” is up for both Single and Song of the Year.
This summer Lambert headlined the fifth annual Taste of Country Music Festival.
