Think punk and country don’t mix? Think again: Revered ’90s punk trio Green Day has teamed up with Miranda Lambert for a revised version of their track “Ordinary World,” which was released on the band’s 2016 album Revolution Radio. Lambert and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong duet on vocals for the tune, which will appear on the group’s Greatest Hits: God’s Favorite Band set for release next month.
Lambert and Armstrong have teamed up before, having paid tribute to the late Phil Everly with an acoustic performance of the Everly Brothers’ 1960 hit “When Will I Be Loved.” The pair delivered their sweet collaboration at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
