Matt Stone’s Last Day Is 12/29
COMMUNITY BROADCASTERS/FT. WALTON BEACH, FL OM MATT STONE has resigned. His last day is DECEMBER 29th. STONE was also PD of the cluster’s Country WHWY (HIGHWAY 98), Adult Hits WWAV (102.1 THE WAVE), and Alternative WZLB (103.1 THE BLAZE). Prior to moving to FT. WALTON BEACH three years ago, STONE was APD/mornings at LOCAL MEDIA SAN DIEGO Alternative XETRA-F (91X)/SAN DIEGO.
STONE told ALL ACCESS, “I will be pursuing voicetrack options and starting my own business outside of radio. Exciting times. I have been going to a radio station daily for 20 years this year. It will be a big change not walking into a studio everyday, but I am sincerely looking forward to what’s next! I can’t wait.
