The lineup for the 2018 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has been revealed and contains a solid dose of powerhouse country acts, with the standouts including Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan.
Last year’s lineup embraced a diverse roster, including an eclectic variety of pop and rock stars such as the Chainsmokers, Alicia Keys, Fifth Harmony, and Blink 182. This year, however, seems focused mainly on pure country, with a few notable exceptions such as OneRepublic and Alessia Cara.
The artists will be performing on a new star-shaped stage. It will have five points that each measure 36 feet and are raised to create an elevated performance.
Tickets will go on sale next Thursday, Jan. 11, at 10AM, through AXS Ticketing via rodeohouston.com. Customers may enter the Online Waiting Room between 9:30 and 9:59AM. At 10AM, customers in the Waiting Room will be randomly selected to enter the store to purchase tickets.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo began in 1932 and raises charity money that benefits youth, supports education and facilitates better agricultural practices through exhibitions and presentation. The show has raised more than $430 million for the youth of Texas since its inception.
