Lee Brice Leads October RIAA Gold And Platinum Honors

RIAA Country Gold & Platinum Awards

The RIAA GOLD and PLATINUM honors for the full month of OCTOBER 2017 have been unveiled, and CURB NASHVILLE’s LEE BRICE leads the honors. BRICE earned RIAA GOLD ALBUM certification for his “I Don’t Dance” and “Love Like Crazy” projects in addition to an RIAA 2X PLATINUM SINGLE designation for “Hard To Love,” an RIAA PLATINUM SINGLE honor for “Drinking Class,” and RIAA GOLD SINGLE honor for “That Don’t Sound Like You.” RCA NASHVILLE’s KANE BROWN also earned multiple certifications, bringing in an RIAA GOLD ALBUM certification for his self-titled “KANE BROWN” album and RIAA PLATINUM SINGLE honors for his recent hit, “What Ifs,” which features MERCURY NASHVILLE’s LAUREN ALAINA.

Additionally, the RIAA distributed GOLD and PLATINUM SINGLE honors to other Country singles. MCA NASHVILLE’s SAM HUNT earned RIAA 4X PLATINUM SINGLE certifications for “Body Like A Back Road” while RIAA GOLD SINGLE honors went to EMI NASHVILLE’s BROTHERS OSBORNE for “It Ain’t My Fault;” VALORY MUSIC CO’s THOMAS RHETT for “Unforgettable;” RIVER HOUSE/COLUMBIA NASHVILLE’s LUKE COMBS for “When It Rains It Pours;” ARISTA NASHVILLE’s LANCO for “Greatest Love Story;” REVIVER RECORDS’ LOCASH for “I Know Somebody;” BMLG RECORDS’ DANIELLE BRADBERY for “The Heart Of Dixie;” and Country icons KENNY ROGERS and DOLLY PARTON for their cross-genre hit “Islands In The Stream.” For a complete list of RIAA awards, visit here.
