$3 million Toward Victims Needs
A GOFUNDME page established just yesterday (10/2) to aid victims of the LAS VEGAS shooting has already surpassed $3 million in donations, according to CNN. The page was set up by STEVE SISOLAK, the CLARK COUNTY COMMISSION chair from LAS VEGAS, who seeded the fund with an initial $10,000 contribution.
Many have since helped, including Country artists FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, retired boxing champ MIKE TYSON, the OAKLAND RAIDERS of the NFL, and the NFL FOUNDATION. The page was set up specifically to help victims who needed airline tickets, or finding shelter and/or accommodations, as many concert-goers were unable to return to their hotels.
