BUCK OWENS PRODUCTION Country KUZZ/BAKERSFIELD has upped part-time personality KENN MCCLOUD to afternoons, effective TUESDAY, JANUARY 2nd. MCCLOUD succeeds longtime KUZZ PM driver CHRIS CONNER, who passed away unexpectedly in OCTOBER (NET NEWS 10/10).
A 30-year radio vet, MCCLOUD previously served as SVP/Programming for iHEARTMEDIA/BAKERSFIELD before joining the KUZZ airstaff in 2015. “KENN brings experience and a winning attitude to the station and will be a great fit,” said KUZZ PD BRENT MICHAELS. “His many years of on-air work in this market, and service with many local non-profit organizations, mirror the live and local community philosophy we have.”
MCCLOUD will double as Dir./Production for KUZZ. “It sounds cliche, but truly I’ve dreamt of being a part of KUZZ for years,” says MCCLOUD. “I’m honored to join this legendary station full time. I appreciate the faith the OWENS family and BRENT have in me.” Send congrats here.
