‘Country Rising’
Following its original postponement (NET NEWS, 10/2), the on-sale date for “COUNTRY RISING” has been rescheduled for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20th. Additionally, in light of the tragedy at ROUTE 91 HARVEST FESTIVAL in LAS VEGAS, “COUNTRY RISING” will now support victims of the LAS VEGAS shooting in addition to those in TEXAS, FLORDIA, PUERTO RICO, and additional CARIBBEAN islands who have been impacted by the recent hurricanes.
Concurrently, CAPITOL NASHVILLE’s KEITH URBAN has been added to the “COUNTRY RISING” lineup. He joins JASON ALDEAN, DIERKS BENTLEY, SAM HUNT, LADY ANTEBELLUM, LITTLE BIG TOWN, MARTINA MCBRIDE, REBA MCENTIRE, CHRIS STAPLETON, GEORGE STRAIT, and CARRIE UNDERWOOD for the concert event, set to be held at NASHVILLE’s BRIDGESTONE ARENA on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12th (NET NEWS 9/29). Due to a scheduling conflict with additional tour dates being added in SPOKANE, WA, PEARL RECORDS’ GARTH BROOKS will no longer take part in the “COUNTRY RISING” event, but will instead donate all proceeds from his two added SPOKANE show dates on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12th directly to the COUNTRY RISING FUND to benefit the causes.
