It’s so close we can almost taste hear it! “Say Something” — Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton‘s collaborative effort — is almost here!
The 2018 Super Bowl halftime show performer shared on Instagram that “Say Something,” his collaboration with Stapleton to be featured on his upcoming album, Man of the Woods, is dropping on Thursday (Jan. 25).
A video of Timberlake and Stapleton walking side by side will work your imagination — where are they going? They appear to be backstage at a music video, so maybe they’re heading to soundcheck? Timberlake is dressed in a black and white flannel shirt and beanie with a visible ear mic looped around his head, while Stapleton walks with his guitar slung over his shoulder wearing a signature cowboy hat.

Stapleton wrote two other tracks on Timberlake’s Man of the Woods: “Morning Light” featuring Alicia Keys and “The Hard Stuff.” Details about “Say Something” are sparse leading up to its release, but it’s bound to be a stellar matchup. The two wowed the audience with their captivating performance of “Tennessee Whiskey” and Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” at the 2015 CMA Awards — the appearance which catapulted Stapleton into the spotlight.
The “Broken Halos” singer is one of the most respected acts in country music now, scoring three No. 1 albums with Traveller, From A Room: Volume 1 and From A Room: Volume 2. He’s nominated for three Grammys at the 2018 awards show, with From A Room: Volume 1 scoring a nomination for Best Country Album, while “Either Way” and “Broken Halos” are up for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, respectively. Stapleton will also perform at the 2018 Grammy Awards, which air on Sunday (Jan. 28) on CBS at 7:30PM ET.
