If the government shuts down over the budget impasse on CAPITOL HILL, the FCC will continue to operate for at least a week, the Commission said in a press statement today (1/19).
The statement, attributed to Office of Media Relations Director BRIAN HART, said, “In the event of a partial government shutdown, because of available funding, the FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION plans to remain open and pay staff at least through the close of business on FRIDAY, JANUARY 26th.”
