GARTH BROOKS won his sixth career, and second consecutive CMA Entertainer of the Year award, while CHRIS STAPLETON and the BROTHERS OSBORNE were each double winners, during last night’s (11/8) “51st ANNUAL CMA AWARDS.”
MIRANDA LAMBERT took home a record seventh career Female Vocalist of the Year trophy, and CARRIE UNDERWOOD brought the crowd – and television viewers – to tears, while singing “Softly And Tenderly,” during a segment honoring industry leaders who have passed, and a remembrance of the 58 victims from last month’s LAS VEGAS tragedy. The annual celebration of Country music was held at NASHVILLE’s BRIDGESTONE ARENA, and televised live on ABC-TV.
