Garth Brooks picked the final city for his North American Garth Brooks World Tour run with Trisha Yearwood, and it’s the place he got his start: Nashville.
The country icon will play Bridgestone Arena on Dec. 16 — it’s the first time he’s played the venue in seven years. Tickets cost $74.98 and go on sale Nov. 10 at 10AM CT via Ticketmaster.
18 Singers That Prove Traditional Country Is Here to Stay
Brooks recently celebrated selling more six million tickets across his multi-year tour. The milestone makes the Garth Brooks World Tour the biggest North American tour in history. It’s been memorable, too — Brooks makes each show an experience, whether he’s offering free college tuition to an unborn baby or being part of marriage proposals.
In addition to his tour, Brooks has announced the release of a five-part book series called Garth Brooks: The Anthology. The first issue will be released this fall. Fittingly titled The First Five Years, the singer will detail the beginning of his career, including cutting “The Thunder Rolls” and how it was almost released by another artist. The book also gives insight to how “Friends in Low Places” and “The Dance” were almost never recorded, among other stories.
