Influential country star, award-winner, and chart-topper, Jo Dee Messina, released a full-length Christmas album following several No. 1 hit songs and RIAA certified projects. A Joyful Noise (embedded below) contained several holiday favorites, along with a self-penned original, “Keep the Faith.”
Though fans could not have predicted it at the time of its release, A Joyful Noise and its final track would foreshadow the eventual direction of Messina’s musical path, as she has most recently begun to incorporate her faith into her body of work. However, before there was the powerful Christian Contemporary holiday tune “Noel,” and the heart-stopping, newly Messina-written “Here,” there were flawless renditions of well-known tracks that continue to make their way onto fans’ playlists at the end of every year.
In 2009, Messina brought her fun personality and immense talent to the Rockefeller Center in New York and performed a Christmas classic for the world to enjoy. On the first day of Gab’s 12 Days of Christmas, we bring to you Messina’s live performance of “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow”.
