Carrie Underwood has been added to the 2018 WE Fest lineup. The 2017 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee and perennial headliner joins a superstar lineup for the Aug. 2-4 festival in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
Underwood’s set at WE Fest is her first-announced live show of 2018. She joins previously revealed performers Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line at Soo Pass Ranch, the home of the world’s largest country music and camping festival. Tickets are on sale now at the WE Fest website, starting at $120 for three-day general admission tickets, $750 for the VIP upgrade. Camping options are also available now.
Country Music’s Top Female Ever? Carrie Made the List!
The WE Fest set is a rare festival appearance for Underwood, an artist who has traditionally toured arenas nationwide. Her performance at the 36th annual WE Fest comes one year after Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum and more left memories in 2017. You know you’ve come across a great country music festival when Darius Rucker and Alan Jackson are direct support for the day’s top artists.
More artists for WE Fest 2018 will be announced in the coming weeks.
Underwood is said to be working on her next studio album, which will be her first since signing a record deal with UMG Nashville earlier this year. There is no timeline on the album, and thus far her 2018 touring plans have not been announced, either. She didn’t tour in 2017, although she played select shows nationwide.
