Blake Shelton is gearing up to hit the road on his upcoming 2018 tour in support of his new album Texoma Shore, which he released Nov. 3. While the singer is eager to spend time on tour with Trace Adkins, Brett Eldredge and Carly Pearce, he admits that there is one song he’s less than excited to play.
In an interview with People, the country singer and The Voice coach confesses that the one hit he’d be more than happy to never sing again is his 2009 collaboration with Adkins, “Hillbilly Bone.”
“I’m gonna say ‘Hillbilly Bone’ because it’s uncomfortable sometimes with kids at the concert,” Shelton says. “You’re singing and you’re looking at a kid and you start talking about ‘Hillbilly Bone’ … it’s uncomfortable.”

Unfortunately for Shelton, “Hillbilly Bone” has become a staple in his live show. He’ll be bringing along Adkins for his upcoming Country Music Freaks Tour, so the hit will likely become a highlight of each concert. The 14-date tour kicks off Feb. 15, 2018 in Tulsa, Okla., and wraps up March 17 in Philadelphia. The singer announced his tour on Oct. 30 with a fun text exchange with his tour support.
“The main thing that I look forward to these days, and honestly I always have, is my live performances,” Shelton says in a press release. “And even though I’m the first to say that too much time on the road can wear me down, too much time away from the road can break my heart. It’s been a while and I cannot wait to get out there! I think this is going to be my greatest tour yet.”
