Blake Shelton Fans Get Chance to Grab His ‘Money’

Blake Shelton fans at Nashville’s Opry Mills Mall on Thursday (Nov. 2) scored swag and VIP concert tickets when the singer’s team started to give his “money” away.

Patrons had a chance to stand in a Blake Shelton money machine to collect coupons for prizes. Two fans won tickets to a 2018 Shelton live concert, and one took home an ice chest. Everyone got a chance to pose with the singer’s wax figure, which was on loan from Nashville’s Madam Tussauds museum.

“Money” is the name of one of Shelton’s songs on his new Texoma Shore album. A mid-tempo, spoken-word verse is reminiscent of what he did on “Boys ‘Round Here” in 2013. The beachy chorus twists his message into a love song by telling his lover that everything she does to him is money. It’s one of the more progressive tracks on Shelton’s new album.

“Money” is just one of the songs Shelton released prior to his album’s release, alongside lead single “I’ll Name the Dogs,” “I Lived It,” “At the House” and “Turnin’ Me On,” the latter two which are inspired by girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

In February Shelton will hit the road on the 2018 Country Music Freaks Tour with Trace AdkinsBrett Eldredge and Carly Pearce. He’s currently a coach on NBC’s The Voice.
