Billy Ray Cyrus is putting his own spin on Don Williams’ 1978 classic “Tulsa Time.” The country singer recently dropped a trippy music video for his unique version and it features his daughter Noah Cyrus on vocals.
The Rokman Remix of “Tulsa Time” transforms the country classic to an EDM jam with plenty of electronic beats that could be heard in a dance club. On the three-minute track, Noah harmonizes with her father on stage during a performance.
“Tulsa Time” is featured on Cyrus’ most recent album, Set the Record Straight, which was released in early November. In addition to showcasing his daughter, Noah, the song also includes a collaboration with Derek Jones.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of “Achy Breaky Heart.” In celebration, Cyrus originally said he was going to change his legal name, but after fans showed their disapproval, he decided otherwise.
Cyrus told Rolling Stone in April that he planned to change his name, going solely by his last name from August forward. He also revealed that he once pleaded with Mercury Records Nashville to let him do it sooner.
