The lineup for Charlie Daniels‘ 2018 Volunteer Jam just added even more star power. Alabama and Chris Young are among the top country artists added to an already star-studded bill.
They join previously announced artists including the Charlie Daniels Band, Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Chris Janson and the Oak Ridge Boys, as well as Blackberry Smoke, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and former Allman Brothers Band member Chuck Leavell. Bobby Bare, Justin Moore, Ricky Skaggs and Eddie Montgomery have also been announced as performers at the 20th Volunteer Jam, and Lee Brice, Sara Evans and Travis Tritt round out the new performers added in a press release on Thursday (Jan. 11).
Daniels is celebrating the 20th Volunteer Jam with a special show billed as Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute to Charlie, which will feature each of the artists on the bill performing songs in honor of Daniels as well as their own hits.

“This year we get back to basics, back to the free form rocking traditions the Volunteer Jam was known for,” Daniels says. “I’m planning a jam at the last part of the show that will blow the roof off Bridgestone. And we’ve got the pickers coming this year that can make that happen big time.”
Tickets for Volunteer Jam XX are available at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster locations and the Bridgestone Arena box office. A portion of the proceeds from Charlie Daniels’ 2018 Volunteer Jam will benefit the Journey Home Project, a non-profit Daniels and his manager, David Corlew, co-founded to help U.S. military veterans.
The 2018 Volunteer Jam will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 7PM CT.
