When to Take Down Christmas Decorations? Kelsea Ballerini’s Stance Is Solid

Kelsea Ballerini is adamant about when to take down Christmas decorations. So according to the country star, when is the best time to remove the jolly? In short, never.

In a video promo for CMA Country Christmas, a TV special that airs Monday (Nov. 27) at 8PM ET on ABC, Ballerini explains that her family’s Christmas decorations stay put all year round.

“I’m from East Tennessee,” Ballerini says in the video. “We keep up our Christmas lights all year.”

She also believes that listening to Christmas music is a year-round event and that the Christmas onesie trumps an ugly Christmas sweater for goofy holiday apparel. So even though Santa never brought her the horse she’s always wanted, Ballerini appears to always be in the Christmas spirit!

The singer is one of many country stars appearing on CMA Country Christmas, which includes Chris Young, Alan Jackson, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Trisha Yearwood, host Reba McEntire and more. A 25-piece orchestra also brings a big band sound to the event, with McEntire casually interviewing her fellow country stars about holiday memories in between.

Overall, 12 artists will perform 19 songs including Christmas classic such as “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas. Ballereini also performs a “Jingle Bells” duet with McEntire early in the show. It’s not the first time the two have taken the stage together, with McEntire joining Ballerini for her single “Legends” at the 51st annual CMA Awards in November.

CMA Country Christmas was originally filmed on Nov. 14 at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House.
