ALL ACCESS congratulates UMG NASHVILLE President CINDY MABE, who was honored by the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM on WEDNESDAY evening (2/21), during its 11th ANNUAL LOUISE SCRUGGS MEMORIAL FORUM. Presented annually, the FORUM honors a music industry leader who best exemplifies the memory of LOUISE SCRUGGS, a pioneering NASHVILLE music executive who guided the career of husband EARL SCRUGGS and his musical partner, LESTER FLATT, for half a century.
MABE’s career started in a marketing role at ARISTA NASHVILLE and RCA NASHVILLE before she moved to CAPITOL NASHVILLE in 2007, rising to SVP/Marketing. In 2014, MABE was elevated to UMG NASHVILLE President (NET NEWS 6/12/14). Past SCRUGGS FORUM honorees include SARAH TRAHERN, JO WALKER-MEADOR, NANCY SHAPIRO, BONNIE GARNER, and KAY CLARY.
