Top 5 Florida Georgia Line Music Videos

Florida Georgia Line consistently churn out party anthems, often accompanied by music videos full of fast cars and pretty girls … but don’t think that’s all they have to offer. The duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have also used their music — and their music videos — to show their serious sides, their romantic sides and their acting chops.

From small towns to big trucks, below are The Boot’s picks for the Top 5 Florida Georgia Line music videos.

    “Cruise”

“Cruise” was the song that catapulted Florida Georgia Line into the limelight and superstardom. The music video for the first single off FGL’s debut EP did pretty well for itself, too: Featuring a paint party, strip poker and (of course) lots of cars, the “Cruise” video was nominated for the CMT Music Awards Video of the Year, and took home that awards show’s prizes for Duo Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year.

    “H.O.L.Y.”

As a song, “H.O.L.Y.” is a complete departure from Florida Georgia Line’s signature “bro-country” sound, and its music video follows suit. The video for the piano-heavy love ballad is all scenic romance: grand pianos, rolling seaside hills, literal walks along the beach at sunset. FGL initially turned down the song, but it and its music video ended up earning them a slew of awards, including the Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards.

    “Stay”

The music video for “Stay” highlights an already-somber song. Its dark and serious, following the dissolution of a relationship that (literally) goes up in flames. Florida Georgia Line’s “Stay” music video was nominated for Duo Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards … but when it lost, Kelley and Hubbard probably weren’t too disappointed, as it was bested by their own “Round Here” clip.

    “May We All”

Kelley and Hubbard took full advantage of Tim McGraw’s acting skills for their “May We All” music video. In the clip, Hubbard and Kelley play racecar drivers, while McGraw is convincing as the cars’ owner, who’s looking to make some money. The video is action heavy, focusing on the rivalry between the two drivers played by Hubbard and Kelley and featuring car crashes, fires and heroics. “May We All” was nominated for the Collaborative Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards.

    “Round Here”

Florida Georgia Line paid homage to their roots in the music video for “Round Here”: It was (appropriately) filmed in Ormond Beach, Fla., and Monroe, Ga., the respective hometowns of Kelley and Hubbard. The video utilizes a split screen, showing Kelley and Hubbard each singing in their hometowns, be it in diners or in the backs of pickup trucks. “Round Here” won the Duo Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards.
