A remake of the movie 9 to 5 is in the works … and the original film’s co-stars, Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, are involved. According to Deadline, 20th Century Fox is working on a new version of the classic movie, which will find three young women who are dealing with sexism at work looking to the original three for help; Parton tells Nightline, meanwhile, that she’s agreed to the studio’s offer. The 21st-century version of 9 to 5, which debuted in 1980, will pair Patricia Resnick, one of the co-writers of the original movie, with a younger writer (they’re reportedly after Rashida Jones); it will be produced by Resnick, Shawn Levy of 21 Laps and StoryBy Entertainment’s Jonathan Baruch.

Maddie Marlow is mourning the death of her grandfather, who passed away on Wednesday (Feb. 28). The Maddie & Tae member shared on Instagram an old photo of her “Papa” and herself, noting that he was the one who inspired her to learn to play the guitar, just as he did. “We miss you so much,” Marlow writes, “but we know you’re up there playing “Blue Suede Shoes,” cracking jokes and entertaining everyone.”

Before beginning his 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour on April 21, Kenny Chesney will warm up with two intimate shows at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Casino on March 16 and 17. Much like his Keg in the Closet shows at college-town bars and the other small-club concerts he’s played pre-tour in the past, the country star will use his two shows at the Joint to get himself, his band and his crew stadium-ready.

In other Dolly Parton news, the country icon’s Imagination Library recently gave out its 100 millionth book. The Imagination Library provides free books to children from the time they are born until they are 5 years old; Parton began the program in 1995 in her home county (Sevier County, Tenn.), and today, it’s available to children throughout the United States, as well as in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Parton celebrated the 100 millionth book milestone by donating to the Library of Congress and doing a reading there.
