Sound Off: Who Should Be the Next ACM Awards Co-Host?

Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley are out as ACM Awards hosts, but who’s in? It’s going to be a few weeks before the Academy makes an announcement, which means plenty of time for speculating.

Could it be Reba McEntire again? What’s Vince Gill up to? Florida Georgia Line have television awards show hosting experience. Could having a television show on NBC prevent Blake Shelton from returning to this CBS party?

Yep, we have lots of questions and even more ideas. The idea of asking Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill to co-host is really appealing. Someone on Twitter suggested McEntire with relative newcomer Dustin Lynch, who is in love with the famous redhead (and we have proof). If nothing else it’d be fun to watch him squirm!

We’ve included eight potential 2018 ACM Awards hosting options for consideration. Maybe the show should go with one of the television network’s stars? Could Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory) do the job? The new MacGyver is kind of hot. Tom Selleck is probably a little old, isn’t he?

Officially this poll has no bearing on who the ACMs will choose, but unofficially? Hey, they’d be foolish not to consider the real country fan opinion!

The 2018 ACM Awards air on April 15, live from Las Vegas. Bryan and Bentley had hosted the two previous ACMs with the “Most People Are Good” singer hosting several before that with Shelton.
