Riley Green Is Thinking Up Pranks to Play on Brad Paisley’s Tour

Riley Green isn’t going out on tour with Brad Paisley until May, but the “There Was This Girl” hitmaker is already thinking about possible pranks to pull while out on the road.

“I’m going to let him strike first since it’s his tour, and then I’ll just kind of retaliate as I see necessary,” Green tells Taste of Country Nights with a laugh.

The sheer idea of touring with a country music icon like Paisley has Green counting down the days until summer.

“I’m really excited about it,” the Alabama native says. “I was always a big fan of Brad growing up, so this will be an interesting one to share.”

It’s quite a change from a few short years ago, when Green was practically begging to play for people.

“It’s a lot better now compared to the days when I was booking myself and had a card I passed out with my phone number on it,” he recalls.

The Paisley tour just adds to an already frantic tour schedule for Green, who continues to promote his current EP In a Truck Right Now.

“It’s hard for me to turn down a show,” he explains. “If somebody will let me come play guitar, then that’s what I am going to do. I don’t get a whole lot of off days.”
