POLL: Who Should Win Best Country Solo Performance at the 2018 Grammy Awards?

Maren Morris took home the award for Best Country Solo Performance at the 2017 Grammys for her hit tune “My Church,” and she’s back in the running for the trophy again this year. In the category, Morris is joined by fellow repeat nominee Miranda Lambert and three other competitors.

Sam Hunt‘s “Body Like a Back Road” broke records and made history in 2017 as country music’s longest-running No. 1 hit. He’ll compete in this category against bluegrass legend Alison Krauss and her version of “Losing You,” originally recorded by Brenda Lee in 1963. Krauss added the emotional track to her 2017 album Windy City.

Lambert comes back to the Best Country Solo Performance nominee lineup with her song “Tin Man,” off her double-disc album The Weight of These Wings. The song is a tribute of sorts to Kenny Chesney‘s song of the same name. Fellow repeat nominee Morris is in the running again for “I Could Use a Love Song,” off her 2016 album Hero. Since her win in this category last year, Morris has picked up even more steam.

This year’s final Best Country Solo Performance nominee is Chris Stapleton, who wrote his nominated song, “Either Way,” along with Tim James and Kendell Marvel. Lee Ann Womack recorded the tune for her 2008 record Call Me Crazy, and Stapleton gave the song his own treatment on his sophomore album, From A Room, Volume 1.
