Luke Bryan Shares New Song, ‘Most People Are Good’ [LISTEN]

Luke Bryan has shared a new song full of positivity, called “Most People Are Good.” The song comes from his upcoming new album, What Makes You Country.

“Most People Are Good” is a feel-good song that aims to remind listeners that the number of good people in the world outweigh the number of bad. In the song, Bryan sings, “I believe most people are good / And most mamas oughta qualify for sainthood / I believe most Friday nights look better under neon or stadium lights / I believe you love who you love / Ain’t nothin’ you should ever be ashamed of …”

The uplifting lyrics of “Most People Are Good” are matched by a steady rhythm and the calming sound of Bryan’s voice. Given the overwhelming number of tragic events that have occurred recently, the song seems like just what the doctor ordered.

“I believe this world ain’t half as bad as it looks,” Bryan continues. “I believe most people are good.”

“Most People Are Good” is the fourth track on What Makes You Country; it was written by David Frasier, Ed Hill and Josh Kear. “Most People Are Good,” “Light It Up” and the record’s title track are available on iTunes as instant downloads for fans who pre-order the album, which is due out on Dec. 8.

In February of 2018, Bryan will launch his What Makes You Country Tour. The trek is scheduled to run through the fall of 2018; joining Bryan for the first few dates of the tour will be Kip Moore and the Cadillac Three.
