As ALL ACCESS tipped you FRIDAY (NET NEWS 3/2), iHEARTMEDIA has debuted Alternative on KIIX (ALT 96-1)/SPOKANE, WA.
ALT 96.1, “will broadcast a variety of Alternative music, including songs from artists such as THE FOO FIGHTERS, IMAGINE DRAGONS, TWENTY ONE PILOTS, CAGE THE ELEPHANT and MUSE,” writes the station.
The station will also feature syndicated “THE WOODY SHOW” on weekday mornings and broadcast commercial-free music from 10a–noon.
Previously on the frequency, was country station KIX 96.1, which now moves to become Kix 99.3.

New morning show host WOODY said, “Much like the flu, we are a problem. Spreading and infiltrating cities across AMERICA. It’s too late for SPOKANE, but they are strong people, and will survive this.”
