Back In Radio…Where He Belongs
Congratulations to KERRY COLLINS, who returns to radio as Production Director for the iHEARTMEDIA cluster in HARTFORD.
COLLINS, a veteran of many fine NEW ENGLAND radio stations – including WPRO/PROVIDENCE and WTIC/HARTFORD – was most recently handling swing for iHEARTMEDIA’s Adult Hits WHCN (105.9 THE RIVER)/HARTFORD. He also previously served as APD/MD for Top 40 WKCI/NEW HAVEN, CT. COLLINS replaces STEVE KELLY, who joins iHEARTMEDIA in PROVIDENCE for similar duties.
COLLINS commented via FACEBOOK, “I cannot express how excited I am to be back in the radio business full time and work with the great people of iHEART HARTFORD! I’ve said many times to many people, ‘I wish I never left iHEART CT in 2005 (then CLEAR CHANNEL).’ Now I have the opportunity to come back home and it is the best feeling in the world.”
COLLINS’ first day on the job was MONDAY (10/2).
