Sorry but someone has to say it … golf is pretty much the least sexy sport out there.
Whew, I feel better having got that off my chest.
That said, there is one way to sexy it up a bit. Just add a dash of Jake Owen.
I got a press release today about Jake playing in this week’s Pro-Am at the PGA TOUR RSM Classic in St. Simons Island, GA alongside tournament host and Golf Hall of Fame Inductee Davis Love III. Pretty standard stuff considering Jake’s well-known love of the sport. It did get me to thinking, though, because I’m pretty much a desperate housewife ALL of the time, that despite how all around boring golf is to me, I could probably stand to watch grown men chasing a little white ball around if Jake Owen was playing (or a shirtless Hemsworth or Jason Momoa in his Khal Drogo getup or someone equally beautiful). So of course I had to go over and check out all the pictures from the event.
Yep, Jake definitely makes dorky look good.
Aside from the pictures, the press release did have a bit of tantalizing news. It read: On Monday we will be making a very special announcement further blurring the line of Jake Owen’s career path between Country Music Star and Professional Golfer.
Professional golfer? Interesting. I’ll let you know what the big news is once I get another press release. Now, for your viewing pleasure, here are a few pics of Jake in all his golfing glory.
