Garth Brooks Is Returning to the Historic Bluebird Cafe

The 25th annual Alive at the Bluebird concert series just added country superstar Garth Brooks to its event.

The series, which takes place at the historic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, benefits nonprofit organization Alive Hospice of middle Tennessee and has boasted sold-out shows nearly every night since its Jan. 2 kickoff.

Brooks has been added to the final show of the month-long series on Thurs., Feb. 1 at 9PM CST. He’ll be joined by Kent Blazy, Pat Alger, Victoria Shaw and Tony Arata. Tickets for the performance are $250 and can be purchased via bluebirdcafe.com, beginning on Thurs., Jan. 18 at 8AM CST.

Although Brooks is the most high-profile artist performing at the concert series, other featured artists include Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann, Hunter Hayes, Clint Black and more. An impressive array of Nashville’s top songwriters, past and present, are also featured every night of the series.

“We are tremendously grateful to the songwriter community for the steadfast support of Alive at the Bluebird for 25 years,” said Alive Hospice President/CEO Anna-Gene O’Neal  in a statement. “Garth started his career in the intimate company of these dedicated professionals, and so we are thrilled that he can join us for this special anniversary year.”

Brooks played the Bluebird long before achieving stardom, and was discovered during his show by Capitol Records A&R executive Lynn Shults in 1988.
