Radio Continues Support

Following yesterday’s (10/2) special programming centering around the tragic mass shooting at ROUTE 91 HARVEST FESTIVAL (NET NEWS 10/2), many Country radio shows began working today (10/3) to help their listeners work through the emotions and begin healing. PREMIERE NETWORKS nationally syndicated “BOBBY BONES SHOW” hosted in-studio performances from KEITH URBAN, DIERKS BENTLEY, BROTHERS OSBORNE, MAREN MORRIS, DAN + SHAY, CHRIS JANSON, and LOCASH. Each artist shared touching acoustic performances of their own music and cover songs in honor of the victims, survivors, and those dealing with the aftermath of the mass shooting. See all of the performances on the show’s FACEBOOK page.

WESTWOOD ONE nationally syndicated “TY, KELLY & CHUCK” morning show hosts TY BENTLI and KELLY FORD made an appearance last night (10/2) at NASHVILLE’s “WHISKEY JAM” to share their love for the NASHVILLE music community following the tragedy. This morning (10/3), the show worked to focus on positivity, sharing a “SWEETEST THING” segment each hour. The show also played MORRIS’ “Dear Hate,” which she released yesterday after having written and recorded it three years ago. Check out more on the show’s website.

On SILVERFISH MEDIA nationally syndicated “THE BIG D & BUBBA” morning show, COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME member CHARLIE DANIELS phoned in to pray with BIG D, BUBBA, and producer PATRICK THOMAS. DANIELS shared a prayer for the nation, as well as for the city of LAS VEGAS and all those affected by the incident at ROUTE 91. Hear that call-in here.

iHEARTMEDIA Country WSIX/NASHVILLE based and nationally syndicated “TIGE & DANIEL” show hosts TIGE RODGERS and DANIEL BAKER are also taking today to honor the heroic actions of those that were on-site during the shooting. BAKER tells ALL ACCESS that the pair are handling the show much the same way as yesterday, “but with more of the positive stories that came out of the situation.”

Nationally syndicated “BIG TIME WITH WHITNEY ALLEN” Exec. Producer JACKIE STEVENS was at the ROUTE 91 HARVEST FESTIVAL, and last night, she phoned in to the show to share the experience from her point of view. Hear her call-in segment here.
