ALPHA MEDIA NORTH DALLAS stations Country KMKT (93.1 KATY COUNTRY), AC KLAK, and Rock KMAD (MAD ROCK 102.5) had a record-breaking year in community giving with food, clothing, and toy drives.

The season started out with scholarships given to two local high schools, a new program that brought acclaim from the staff at both schools.

The SAMARIAN INN were able to provide not only for their residents, but an additional 500 meals for THANKSGIVING, due in large part, to donations made through the McKINNEY food drive. This event was followed by the annual coat drive.

The CAMOUFLAGE CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE on KMKT adopted out every one of its eight families within the first 18 hours of the giveaway, scheduled to go for two-and-a-half weeks. Also breaking the annual record for quickest fulfillment with its KNIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE was KMAD, adopting out all its families within the first few days. KLAK’s CALLING ALL ANGELS toy drive also saw another successful year, fulfilling its goal to cover gifts for 12 families.

ALPHA MEDIA N. DALLAS Market Manager DAVID SMITH commented, “We are very committed to our community, especially during the holiday season when the need is often the greatest. We want to thank our listeners, advertising partners and key organizations for their generous support. This was a fulfilling way to conclude 2017 with much more in the works for 2018!”
