On Thursday (Jan. 4), CMT’s Nashville will return to the network for its sixth and final season. No doubt, as the show works to go out with a bang, the new season will include a number of cameos, bridging the gap between the fictional country music universe and the real one.
Throughout its tenure, Nashville has featured a number of interesting guest stars, including First Lady Michelle Obama, TV host Trevor Noah and music icon Steven Tyler — but the most exciting appearances are often from the real-life country music stars who have popped up from time to time and helped make Nashville such a hit show.
